A vacuum-remelt grade of
martensitic age-hardenable stainless steel, custom-designed for
pump-shaft type applications which require higher strengths than 304 or
316/317, and greater corrosion resistance than 410/416 or 17-4PH. Mar-10
is aircraft quality, specially ground and polished, and straightened to
pump shaft requirements.
- Can replace: aircraft quality alloy and stainless, 450, 440, 416,
410, 17-4, 317, 316 and 304
- Sizes: 5/8 to 7” diameter, up to 24’ in length
